Join us for the 4th Annual Ocean Games Event

Test your open swim skills and support brain trauma research at the 3rd Annual Ocean Games open water swim and stand up paddle board race on July 16th, 2016.

The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Program (ONRP) has been instrumental in the recovery of one of our 9 miler participants, Corey Davis. Come out to hear his inspiring story and celebrate his recovery!



The Race

1 mile swim – 3 mile swim – 9 mile swim – 9 mile paddleboard race

Date: July 18th, 2015

Time: 10:00 am

Benefit: Johns Hopkins Hospital

Price: 1 mile = $45.00 3 mile = $95.00 9 mile = $250.00

  • All three swims will run parallel to the shore line and swim in the direction of the current on that day
  • Start locations will depend upon current direction
  • There will be time restrictions for all three races and mandatory time qualifications for the 9 mile race

3 Mile Start: 92nd Street


Safety Buoys: Approximately every 4500-4600 feet (1500 Yards)

Our Goals

Our goal at Crossing Currents Aquatics is to provide the essential resources for swimming confidence, improvement, and enjoyment!
